Welcome to Mayfield High School!

Mayfield High School is based on three essential foundations:  Pride, Tradition, and Excellence. We are very proud of our diversity also.  Mayfield High School is one of the top academic schools in the state, based on our demographics.  The success rate of our students in college is outstanding; moreover, we are extremely proud that we go beyond state testing to prepare our students for success in higher education.  The graduating class of 2007 earned a total of $1,208,322 in scholarships and grants, an average in excess of $16,000 per graduate.

Mayfield High School has a tradition of excellence.  Our athletic programs boast several Kentucky State Championships, including seven in football.  We have been commended by The Southern Association of Schools and Colleges for our exemplary balance between academics and extracurricular success.  The Southern Association also commended our school for its excellent school climate and our outstanding teaching staff.
