The Mayfield Elementary Preschool Head Start program is an early childhood education program that serves the Mayfield school district preschool children ages 3 and 4 (by October 1 of the current school year) who are income eligible according to Federal Head Start poverty guidelines and KERA free lunch guidelines.  We also serve 3 and 4 year old preschool children that have been diagnosed with special needs or developmental delays, regardless of income.

The preschool classes are held in the Mayfield Elementary School building, located at 1004 Backusburg Road in Mayfield.  We are in the red wing on the North side of the school building.  The preschool office is  located in the Mayfield board of education building, behind our elementary school .
