While there, they met many authors, as well as Mychal Threets, who is the new host of PBS’s return of the Reading Rainbow Series.
Dobrose and Clapp say they learned so much about librarianship and enjoyed meeting librarians from across the country. They also received many free books signed by authors that they are bringing back to their schools.
Clapp’s attendance was made possible through the Bound to Stay Bound First-Time Attendee Grant, which supports new participants in continuing their professional development.
