The Mayfield Independent School District Nutrition and Food Services Program has placed third in the Kentucky Department of Agriculture’s Farm to School Stars Recognition Program.

Last season ticket holders have the first opportunity to purchase chair seats for the 2026-2027 basketball season.

The 2026 National Recognition Program awarded more than 300,000 high-achieving students with a national academic distinction to help them stand out to colleges and scholarship programs.

MHS sophomore Arya Anderson has been selected for the inaugural 2026-27 cohort of the Civic Leadership Institute, a new multiyear program that prepares Kentucky high school students for future leadership in law, government, public policy, history, education, public service and other civic-minded fields.
