Three Mayfield High School students selected to Murray State’s CHA

Three Mayfield High School students have been chosen to attend Murray State University’s Commonwealth Honors Academy this summer.  Congratulations to juniors Gray Robbins, Ally Creason, and Piper Hale.

The Commonwealth Honors Academy is a three-week academic enrichment experience held every June on Murray State University’s main campus in Murray, KY. Students on campus while taking college-level honors classes and participate in fun activities and seminars aimed to help them grow personally and socially.

Students attending the program will receive three hours of college credits and a 4-year full tuition scholarship to Murray State University.  

High school students will also get a taste of what life will be like as a college student. They will live in a residence hall with a roommate, get food from campus dining locations, and learn how to navigate campus just like a regular Murray State student.
