Adopted Tax Rate

The Mayfield Independent Board of Education is adopting a general fund tax levy of 72.9 cents on real property and 72.9 cents on personal property.

The General Fund tax levied in fiscal year 2026 was 72.1 cents on real property and 72.1 cents on personal property and produced revenue of $3,406,522.26. The adopted General Fund tax rate of 72.9 cents on real property and 72.9 cents on personal property is expected to produce $3,398,148.83. Of this amount, $202,482.77.00 is from new and personal property. The compensating tax for 2027 is 70 cents on real property and 72.1 cents on personal property and is expected to produce $3,268,801.53.

The adopted rate is not expected to generate more revenue than received in the preceding year.

Motor Vehicle rate will remain at 68.9 and Utility rate will remain at 3%.
