Mayfield Independent Planning San Antonio Enrichment Trip

The proposed action-packed itinerary includes visits to iconic Lone Star State destinations across four major cities. In Dallas, planned stops under consideration include Dealey Plaza and a VIP guided tour of AT&T Stadium. While traveling through Waco, participants are slated to visit the Dr. Pepper Museum and Magnolia Market. The primary destination, San Antonio, will feature historic private tours of The Alamo, plus the Natural Bridge Caverns Discovery Tour, the San Antonio Museum of Art, the Natural Bridge Twisted Ropes and Zip Line, and a river cruise. An optional NBA game featuring the San Antonio Spurs is also available at an additional cost.

The cost of the trip is $950 for students and $995 for adults. The price includes round-trip air travel, charter bus transportation, hotel accommodations, scheduled activities, and most meals. The first payment of $300 will be accepted beginning Friday, September 25. The price does not include the optional NBA game ticket.

The trip is strictly limited to the first 55 paid participants. Priority will be given to high school students in grades 9 through 12 on a first-come, first-served basis, with middle school students considered if space remains available. Adult chaperones are encouraged to sign up, determined on the combinations of students participating and the type of hotel rooms books.

Participating students must remain in good academic and behavioral standing, as all school code of conduct rules will be strictly enforced.

Interested families should complete the official Google Form to ensure accurate contact information. Please contact Sarah Dunn ([email protected]) or Mary Seay ([email protected]) for questions, concerns, or suggestions regarding the trip.
